The August results are in for our electrifying Saber Skirmish league, and the competition is fiercer than ever as we approach the highly anticipated Saber Skirmish 2024 Golden Saber Tournament on September 21st. With returning veterans and rising stars alike vying for supremacy, the stage is set for an unforgettable showdown.

Leading the pack once again is the indomitable William Hein, holding the prestigious 6th Order rank. Hein continues to demonstrate why he’s a formidable opponent, boasting an impressive 47 wins out of 57 games and an X-factor of 2.26. His consistent performance and 82% win rate make him a hard combatant to beat in the upcoming tournament.

While not competing in the tournament himself, Luke Hein, also of the 6th Order rank and William’s father, will be overseeing the proceedings as the tournament director. Luke’s statistics are nothing short of remarkable, with an X-factor of 3.65 and a staggering 465 strikes, setting a high bar for the competitors.

The 7th Order ranks are showing some intriguing developments. Efthymios Efthymiou has made a significant leap, moving from a negative X-factor in July to a positive 0.09 in August. Meanwhile, Nathan Sharpe, despite being a newcomer, has quickly established himself as a strong opponent. Also in the 7th Order, Nathan Sayers maintains his solid performance with an X-factor of 3.21, while Luka Petkovic seems to be in a holding pattern with an unchanged -0.40 X-factor.
