Background: The Emperor’s ring is a symbol of the emperor’s absolute authority and is given to all regents who rule in the name of the emperor. On Valenor, Aen’eas is regent, though much like his own authority the ring has vanished. Aen’eas suspects a thief though the implications of this trouble him deeply. If a thief could get this close to him then surely he is vulnerable to assassination? Worse still, the thief maybe someone within his own inner circle. For now Aen’eas must keep the loss of the ring a secret, lest imperial rule over Valenor should collapse entirely.
Ability: A faction leader may use the same fighter twice or draw from their entire pool of fighters in a given match.
Gameplay: The Emperor’s Ring permits the faction leader the ability to draw from their entire pool of fighters irrespective of whether the fighter conducted an assault/repel in the previous phase. The faction leader may also field the fighter a second time in the same bout. To play the Emperor’s Ring, faction leaders must simply declare the artefact before the bout at the time of scheduling their fighters to the Game Master. Conditions: The Emperor’s Ring may be randomly assigned for any and all districts.
