Junior Lightsaber Combat League Heats Up: Von Rieben Dominates, Newcomers Show Promise
The August leaderboard for the Junior Lightsaber Combat League has been released, and it’s clear that the force is strong with some of our young Padawans. Leading the pack is none other than Beatrix Von Rieben, whose lightsaber skills have been lighting up the arena all season.
Von Rieben, an Adept in the junior division, has proven herself to be a formidable opponent with an impressive 14 wins out of 21 games. Her X-factor of 3.43 demonstrates a masterful balance of offensive strikes and defensive maneuvers. With 128 strikes this season and 46 career games under her belt, von Rieben is setting the standard for aspiring lightsaber wielders everywhere.
While the veterans continue to impress, it’s the fresh faces in the league that are really turning heads. Newcomer Lennon Davison has stormed onto the scene with a perfect 2-0 record and the highest X-factor in the league at 3.50. Although Davison’s sample size is small, the potential is undeniable. Another Neophyte making waves is Ryder Kerin, who boasts the second-highest win count with 5 victories and an outstanding 71% win rate.
The league also sees some family rivalries brewing, with the Kirsten clan fielding three competitors – Xander, Oliver, and Elliott – all showing promise as Neophytes. The Clayton and Murphy brothers are also making their mark, though with varying degrees of success.
