Powering On/Off

Beginning your journey with a Saber Academy Armoury lightsaber is simple and intuitive. To wake your saber, hold the button for 2 seconds until the indicator turns white. A single click will then ignite the blade. When you’re finished with your training or demonstration, hold the button until the blade powers down. For storage, activate sleep mode by holding the button for 10 seconds until all lights vanish. Our sabers also feature an auto-shutdown mechanism that activates after 10 minutes of inactivity to preserve battery life.

Basic Controls

Understanding the button indicator system is essential for mastering your saber. Each flash represents approximately 0.5 seconds, serving as a timing guide for accessing different functions. Volume can be adjusted by holding the button until one flash occurs and then releasing, cycling through three distinct volume levels.

Blade-On Functions

With your blade ignited, a single button click activates block mode, simulating the effect of a lightsaber deflecting blaster shots. Color changing functions offer flexible personalization – release after two flashes and click to select from available colors, or use the fast color-changing feature by either twisting the hilt or releasing after three flashes depending on your saber model.

Blade-Off Functions

When your blade is powered off, your saber offers several customisation options.

• Access volume adjustment by releasing the activation button after one flash, allowing you to cycle through high, low, and mute settings.
• Light effects can be changed by releasing after two flashes, with XENO3.0 offering eight distinctive styles and XRGB3.0 providing three. The XENO3.0 supports twelve different ignition styles accessible by releasing after three flashes, while XRGB3.0 has a single ignition style.
• Sound fonts can be changed by holding the button until you hear the character sound or by using the twist motion control when the blade is pointing up.

Special Effects & Modes

The Saber Academy Armoury lightsabers come equipped with a range of special effects that enhance the realism and versatility of your combat experience.

• Force Mode can be activated by holding the button and quickly twisting the hilt when pointing upward, creating a distinctive force effect.
• Melt Mode, activated by holding the button and pushing forward, simulates the iconic melting effect when the blade contacts resistant materials.
• Lock Up Mode, Drag Mode, Lightning Block, Multi Block Mode, and Multi Lock Mode each provide unique visual and sound effects that replicate different combat scenarios from the Star Wars universe, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your training or performance.

Motion Activation features

The advanced motion control system transforms how you interact with your lightsaber. When the blade is off, you can activate it through three distinct motions: twisting the hilt clockwise then anticlockwise, performing a stab-and-pull motion, or swinging the saber vigorously in a circle. With the blade activated, additional motion controls become available, including Jump Color-Changing by holding the button and twisting, and Rotate Color-Changing by pointing the hilt down while holding the button and rotating.
